Mission of the Sisters of Mary of Kakamega

The Sisters of Mary of Kakamega serve in hospitals and dispensaries in many communities.

They teach children of all ages and needs, many of them with different disabilities: deaf, physically challenged, mentally challenged, blind and deaf/blind.

The Sisters provide small, safe and pleasant homes for children who are disabled, children with diseases both commonplace and rare, such as albinism, children who are suffering from AIDS, or are orphaned.
